Carbonate Street Development
In the mountainous regions of Colorado, affordable housing has been in short supply due to local economic conditions, particularly affecting individuals in the tourism and service sectors, making it difficult for them to afford homes in the area.
To address this pressing need, the Carbonate Street development is a joint venture between the city of Buena Vista, Colorado, and Fading West Development. Currently, fully finished factory-constructed modules are under construction for this project. These modules are essentially pre-built boxes, completed in a factory setting, and then transported to the site for placement.
This innovative construction method aims to offer affordable and sustainable housing options for both full-time and part-time residents of the region, providing a timely solution to the housing crisis in the area.
